Nondegree Programs

Postbaccalaureate Study

Students who wish to continue their education outside of a degree or licensing program may enroll as postbaccalaureate students. 

Apply on-line as Postbaccalaureate (Non-degree) and pay a $55 graduate application fee.

Submit the following materials to the College of Education Office of Graduate Studies, 100 North University Street, West Lafayette, IN 47907-2098:

• Some form of paperwork showing that you have a bachelor's degree (e.g., a copy of your teacher license, diploma, or transcripts)
• College of Education Application Questionnaire (PDF)

Teacher License

Graduates of accredited universities and colleges who wish to enter Purdue University to complete requirements for standard teacher licensure should contact the Office of Professional Preparation and Licensure for the appropriate procedures. Graduates who wish to complete advanced licensure requirements may do so on the same basis as other graduate students.

Teacher Licensing Options:

• Initial Teacher License (some applicants may be eligible for the Transition to Teaching Program)
• Add a License Area
• Renew a License
