Registration/Scheduling:

Examinees may call the Lafayette Prometric Testing Center at (765) 447-0626 or the Candidate Services Call Center at 1-800-853-6773 to schedule an appointment to test.  Telephone registrations require either a valid credit card number (American Express, MasterCard, or Visa only) or a PRAXIS voucher number.

To pay by check or money order, examinees must either apply by mail to the Educational Testing Service (ETS) for a PRAXIS voucher that will permit scheduling by phone, or go to the center to submit the check or money order and make the appointment at that time.

The address of the Lafayette Prometric Testing Center is 4050 Britt Farm Drive, Lafayette, IN 47905.

Test Fees:

One test = $80
Two tests = $120
 Three tests = $160
Combined test = $130

Examinees may register for the three tests at one time; however, all three tests do not have to be completed on the same date.  The combined test is taken in a single testing session for a total of 4? hours.

Rescheduling:

To reschedule or cancel, examinees must call the test center or the Candidate Services Call Center no later than three business days before the scheduled appointment.
Rescheduling Fee: $15 per PRAXIS test or combined test (all three tests in a single testing session)

Test Scores:

Examinees? scores are based on the number of questions answered correctly. There is no penalty or subtraction for answering a question incorrectly.

Official score reports will be mailed from ETS approximately 2-3 weeks after the test date.

Each computer-delivered test may be taken only once per calendar month up to six times in a 12-month period. If this restriction is violated, the scores from the retest will not be reported and the test fees will not be refunded.

Scores must be released to Purdue University West Lafayette at the time of testing. Select Purdue WLAF (Code #R 1631) as the score recipient during the tutorial prior to the testing start.
