Students in Education Enhancing Diversity (S.E.E.D)
S.E.E.D. (STUDENTS IN EDUCATION ENHANCING DIVERSITY) serves as an organization that supports and cultivates multiculturalism within the Teacher Education Program.
S.E.E.D. places emphasis on recruiting multicultural students and creating opportunities for students currently enrolled in the teacher education program, while promoting mentorship, partnership, and leadership within the Purdue community.
S.E.E.D. students participate in Homework Help sessions every two weeks at Lafayette Urban Ministry (LUM). Students mentor, teach and provide leadership to students from Kindergarten to 4th grade.
