Online Master’s Programs Rank Top-tier

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University College of Education online graduate programs received accolades in the newest U.S. News & World Report rankings issued Tuesday (Jan. 14).

The report listed four College of Education online master’s programs in the top fifteen nationally with our overall ranking for all online master’s programs collectively ranked in the top 9%.

All of the rankings above are new program concentrations ranked by U.S. News & World Report for this year’s list. This is the first year that the College of Education has submitted materials for consideration for the Best Online Master’s in Education Programs for Veterans.

The overall ranking for all online College of Education programs moved up to 28 (tied with University of Nebraska—Kearney and University of North Carolina—Charlotte) among the 298 colleges and universities listed by U.S. News. The ranking is a jump from the college’s No. 29 spot last year and places us in the top 9%.

U.S. News and World Report examined each program in five categories: engagement, services and technologies, expert opinion, faculty credentials and training, and student excellence. More about the methodology used is available on the U.S. News and World Report website.
