Nielsen Pereira, associate professor in Educational Studies, will lead the partnership. Pereira is a core faculty member and currently serves as interim co-director of the College’s Gifted Education Research & Resource Institute (GER2I).

“This is an important step for the exchange of faculty, research scholars, and students as well as collaborative research  and engagement opportunities” Pereira said. “This partnership is of particular interest to me and others in GER2I because it will involve work related to talent development programs, such as summer programs with focus on STEAM.”

Pereira hopes faculty members from both institutions can visit each other’s campuses to observe and learn more.
