Family and Consumer Sciences Education
Overview
Our graduate programs provide advanced preparation for educators whose focus is on family life, work life, and careers in family and consumer sciences.
Our graduates work in various settings, like middle and secondary schools, secondary and post-secondary occupational programs, cooperative extension services, human service agencies, and business and industry.
Doctoral students also may prepare to be teacher educators or college teachers in family and consumer sciences education.
Programs of study are designed to address individual needs and interests through a combination of advanced studies in professional education and in selected content areas in the College of Health and Human Sciences.
