School Counseling Program

Purdue’s school counseling program prepares you to transform children’s lives. As a school counselor, you will help your students focus on academic, career and social/emotional development so they achieve success in school and are prepared to lead fulfilling lives as well-adjusted adults.

You will:

  • graduate with an in-depth knowledge of children and adolescents
  • gain experience working with a diversity of student populations
  • be qualified for school counselor licensure in Indiana (although not all of our students stay in the state to practice)

Program applicants come from a variety of undergraduate majors.

Accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP)
