Hoosier STEM Academy

Purdue University, Ball State University, and IUPUI partner to create The Hoosier STEM Academy. The Academy’s goal is to address the teacher shortage in Indiana in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. The academy offers a program for STEM professionals planning to transition to teaching. 

Transition to Teaching

Take courses geared to those wishing to change careers to becoming a secondary STEM teacher.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM content area
  • Commit to teaching 3 years in qualifying Indiana Schools
