CLEAR has partnered with faculty at Purdue University, as well as with colleagues in K-12 schools to conduct research on various literacy topics.
This research project aims to explore the ways teachers and students engage in the Teaching Reading for Social Understanding (TRFSU) model to develop both theory about how reading fiction in grades K-8 influences both comprehension and empathy.
This research project’s focus is the exploration of how social media can enahnce student engagement in STEM-related learning activities.
This project seeks to understand the impact of ongoing professional development delivered via distance technology on both teachers’ implementation of key concepts and practices and student achievement.
