– Profile

Dennis graduated from Purdue University in 2004 with a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology. He completed his Masters in Telecommunications at Indiana University, Bloomington, as well as his undergraduate degree. He has worked in the field of distance education, since 1975 – before the term distance education was coined. He was employed at IUPUI in the fields, of Social Work, Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing. He was the Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence for the TQE Grant at Metropolitan State University in Denver, and is currently the Director of Instructional and Online Technologies at Ivy Tech for Central Region in Indianapolis. The Dell family has a West Lafayette, Indiana address, but actually live in the town of Battle Ground, where President William Henry Harrison fought the battle of Tippecanoe.
