Ofelia Schepers is an assistant professor of Literacy and Language, as well as a former elementary teacher. She recently edited a text Developing Trauma-Informed Teachers: Creating Classrooms that Foster Equity, Resiliency, and Asset-Based Approaches (Information Age Publishing, 2022).
