My name is Daniela (Ela) Castellanos-Reyes. I'm a Ph.D. Candidate in Learning Design and Technology at Purdue University and 2022 NAEd/Dissertation Fellow. My current research interests include online learning interaction in communities of inquiry and identifying course design features that supports online learners' social presence through social learning analytics. I also have work on networked learning and the role of Latina/o/x's in instructional design. My latest research using longitudinal social network analysis to examine learners' interaction in MOOCs was published in Computers in Human Behavior.
