Licensure Programs

Welcome Teacher Education Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, and Current Educators

Purdue University’s College of Education offers numerous and diversified Teacher Education Programs that result in eligibility for an Indiana Professional Educator’s License, including program options in both Instruction and Administration. Applicants can choose from undergraduate and graduate programs while earning a Bachelor’s, Master’s, Educational Specialist, or a Doctorate degree, dependent upon the licensure program. The College of Education at Purdue University is nationally accredited at the initial-licensure level by CAEP, the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation. The College of Education will undergo a national review of its advanced licensure programs in Teacher Education by CAEP in the spring of 2022. Upon CAEP review and Indiana Department of Education recommendation, the College of Education at Purdue University is also accredited at the state level by the Indiana State Board of Education.
