New NSF Grant Awarded

A Professor in the College of Education has been awarded a new grant totaling $1,270,155 over three years. The grant, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), entitled Exploring Biological Evidence: Helping Students Understand the Richness and Complexity of Evidentiary Constructs in Biology will be led by the principle investigator (PI) Ala Samarapungavan, Professor of Educational Psychology & Research Methodology. Professor Samarapungavan’s Co-PIs are Nancy Pelaez, Associate Professor of Biology; Stephanie Gardner, Assistant Professor of Biology; Kari Clase, Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering and Technology Leadership and Innovation; Aaron Rogat, Research Associate in Educational Studies.
