Purdue’s online MSEd in special education program has been named as an Institute of Higher Education (IHE) partner on a federally funded $6 million state personnel development grant. The grant was awarded to the Indiana Department of Education, Office of Special Education. This grant will continue the important work of Indiana University’s Center on Education and Lifelong Learning (CELL) and the Indiana Center on Teacher Quality.

As a partner, Purdue’s online MSEd in special education program will become a pipeline for teachers to obtain their licensure in special education.

Indiana was one of only five states to receive funding in this award cycle.

Congratulations to Kharon Grimmet, clinical assistant professor of special education, and the online MSEd in special education program!
