Admission to the Teacher Education Program (TEP) is a distinct and unique admission process, separate from admission to Purdue University and a specific college with a teacher education program. Each undergraduate teacher education program includes the Plan of Study for the degree. For additional information, see undergraduate admissions. For more information about the TEP admission and retention process, please contact the academic/faculty advisor for the specific teacher education program. All licensure programs are listed below.
Health and Physical Education
(Candidates may only be admitted to the Health and Physical Education degree program through December 31, 2014. No candidates can be admitted as of January 1, 2015. Individuals already admitted by December 31, 2014 may apply for admission to the Teacher Education Program after Gate A requirements have been satisified.)
Graduate level licensure programs are comprised of instructional, administrative, and school services programs. All applicants to graduate level licensure programs are required to request the completion of a transcript evaluation prior to admission. The Transcript Evaluation Request Form link is located on the right side of this page. Only individuals completing instructional programs as “post-baccalaureate teacher for licensing only” candidates are required to obtain admission to the Teacher Education Program (TEP) — a distinct and unique admission process, separate from graduate admission to Purdue University. For more information about the TEP admission and retention process, please contact the academic/faculty advisor for the specific teacher education program. All licensure programs are listed below.
